• Password (hashed and stored securely by Supabase Auth)

Billing information:

• Payment details (credit card number, expiration, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Subscription plan and billing history

Usage data collected automatically:

• Pages viewed and features used within the application
• Device type, browser type, and operating system
• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Timestamps of access and session duration
• Compliance topics and jurisdictions you follow or search for

3. How We Use Your Information

• Personalized compliance news: Your location and preferences determine which regulatory updates, health department alerts, and compliance news you receive.
• Account management: To create and maintain your account, authenticate your sessions, and communicate with you about service-related matters.
• Billing and subscriptions: To process payments, manage your subscription tier, and handle billing inquiries.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Wire:

• Supabase — Authentication, database hosting, and data storage. Your account data and application data are stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management. Stripe collects and processes your payment information under their own privacy policy. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Vercel — Application hosting and deployment. Vercel processes request data including IP addresses and request metadata. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered features including compliance summaries and analysis. Prompts sent to Claude may include your location preferences and compliance queries. We do not send your personal contact or billing information to Anthropic. See anthropic.com/privacy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data with the services listed above only as necessary to operate Wire.

5. Cookies and Session Data

Wire uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. When you sign in, a session cookie is set in your browser to keep you authenticated. These are strictly functional cookies required for the service to work.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not participate in cross-site tracking or ad networks.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion.

Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations. Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, secure password hashing, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
